East of England

A message from the Head of School

Thank you for your interest in public health training in the East of England! We have a great specialty programme here with lots to offer including a mix of training locations with populations that range from the very affluent to those with significant challenges, in rural or deprived areas. In the East of England, as a public health registrar or other professional you could be working in a local authority, an acute hospital, mental health or community trust, an integrated care board (ICB), or in an academic institution.

If you are interested in applying for the specialty training programme please visit the link below.

East of England also has an excellent system to support those wanting to register as public health practitioners – please see the relevant section of the website via the link above for more information.

Alongside supporting people who specialise in public health we also work with foundation doctors and other specialty registrars undertaking public health attachments and with people undertaking the postgraduate certificate in population health. If you would like more information please email us at: england.phschool.eoe@nhs.net

Thanks again for your interest and I look forward to welcoming you to the East of England!
